Clouds and Darkness

"I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.  -Genesis 9:13.


And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.  -Exodus 13:21.


In the daytime also He led them with the cloud...  -Psalm 78:14a


While He was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  Hear Him!"  -Matthew 17:5.


...He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.  -Acts 1:9b.


This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart...  -Ephesians 4:17-18.


He made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters and thick clouds of the skies... The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.  -Psalm 18:11-13.


"Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." -Luke 21:27.


Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him.  -Revelation 1:7.
